Scott began his immigration practice as an attorney with a non-profit organization in Salt Lake City in 2001. During his time there, Scott represented hundreds of clients in a diverse range of immigration matters, and he was also involved in a large number of community outreach efforts.
Scott later went to Texas to continue his immigration practice, and was associated between 2007 and 2015 with two prominent immigration firms, respectively based in San Antonio and Houston.
Scott has extensive experience in family-based petitions, consular processing, waivers, removal proceedings, and employment-based matters (both self-petitions & employer-sponsored petitions). Scott’s ease with immigration law allows him to quickly analyze issues and identify options for clients.
Scott is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Utah State Bar. He is also Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
